Thanks for the note. I do not have an extra board but I can point you to a Vermont Surf Coalition group on facebook that I started to help setup carpools from VT down to the coast. There aren't many of us up here but I just sent you an invite via email.

Cool project.

I just moved to Plattsburgh and surf in Costa Rica in the winter. I am looking for a board, any b oard, but prefer a long board.

I dont need anything good or fancy and don't know where to look, so I found you on the web. I just want to paddle in lake champlain to keep in shape for surfing. Any thoughts? Any boards you can part with?

Thanks for the comment Kevin. Great points. I'm not sure we can make a generalization about all reporters who represent these networks but there is a big opportunity for them to step up their game... and I think more interviews like this will put the pressure on!

Dan,
Do you think NBC has become Jack Welch's Facebook? Similar to Murdoch and Fox, Fox News and CNBC/MSNBC work very hard to sell the journalists with honor and integrity brand. Which is completely bogus, it is all about numbers of viewers. Except now these rating hicups keep hurting both networks because of the men at the top.

Not that we are any better, I mean it's all about autosales for us , but we are honest and upfront about it. Maybe Car and Driver is a bit deceptive. Us and Dealer are all about opening every available conduit of communication to the auto purchasing public to sell metal.

The point here is that Welch and Murdoch are pushing agendas detrimental to their success and image. Fox agenda for the Neo Cons, GE/NBC for business and in the strangest of turns, who do we trust the most. . . JOHN STWEART with no hidden agendas.

Why do I feel some responsibility? Always pushing the marketing envelope in auto sales, did we show some nasty people a way to manipulate people towards greed? Would love to know how you feel?

Gpt this when on a Thai Airways flight from Bangkok to Manila. It was on a Boeing 777-200. The signal was consistent during the flight... which seems to me that the hotspot is on the plane.
