It has been 7 days without an internet connection so there has been plenty of time to complete the surf board restoration project started back in October of 2006. The 7′6″ mini-mal was completely sanded down, the crack in it’s side (from Hurricane Florence) repaired, and fully repainted:

Dan-
Cool project.
I just moved to Plattsburgh and surf in Costa Rica in the winter. I am looking for a board, any b oard, but prefer a long board.
I dont need anything good or fancy and don’t know where to look, so I found you on the web. I just want to paddle in lake champlain to keep in shape for surfing. Any thoughts? Any boards you can part with?

Thanks for the note. I do not have an extra board but I can point you to a Vermont Surf Coalition group on facebook that I started to help setup carpools from VT down to the coast. There aren’t many of us up here but I just sent you an invite via email.
